Property Insurance Products
Property Insurance
Property Insurance protects your home, any outbuildings or detached structures, and your personal property. The insurance amount is generally determined based on the cost of rebuilding your home, which we can help you to determine.
Personal property, such as jewellery, furs, boats, equipment for professional use, stamp and coin collections, and so on, has limited coverage, but you can request additional coverage for added protection.
Whether you rent or own your home, we recommend choosing All-Risk insurance coverage, whenever possible. Our All-Risk property policy protects your building and contents against all risks, except those that are specifically excluded in your policy. We also offer optional coverage that we can tailor to meet your individual needs.
Personal Liability Insurance
Are you a tenant? Did you know that you could be held responsible for damages if you accidentally set fire to your building?
Are you a landlord? Did you know that you could be held responsible if a letter carrier is injured on your staircase?
Personal liability insurance can protect you from many problems; it protects you if you’re responsible for unintentionally injuring someone, or if you cause damage to someone’s property.
Most policy holders have at least $1,000,000 in personal liability coverage, but you can increase this amount to a maximum of $5,000,000, under certain conditions.
